The Rundown: Vanessa must rally a group of strangers if they have any chance of surviving the kill train.

Vanessa and the rest of the survivors find themselves facing a crazed killer and through an unintended mishap, she manages to save the day. With time running out, Vanessa’s friend suggests she utilize her organizational skills to take control of the situation in order to get them out safe. Vanessa decides that the only way they have a chance at living is if they all make it to the back of the train.
Moving to the next car, they find themselves confronted by two more killers and Vanessa sees something different in these two. Something that will spur her and the others to fight back but the group finds out quickly when they reach the next car that not all of them will make it out alive.
The Story: Cuartero-Briggs crafts a thrilling, fun and entertaining follow up to the first issue. I love that the story is both dark and often silly and those elements blend perfectly. I really enjoy the characters a lot and there is a wonderful immediacy to everything that they do. You can feel the tension throughout the story and every moment makes me excited to see where this story goes next and what else they could encounter on the journey.
The Art: Niosi perfectly captures the fun and twisted world of this story with beautifully detailed art that is fantastic to look at.
